Shri J.P. Vijayvergia is a well known name in the Vijayvergia Samaj as well as in the international carpet market. He was born on 15 Oct 1945 in a small village Dubbi (near Dausa) in a middle class family. Shri Ram Kishore Vijay & (Late) Smt. Birdi Devi shares the proud of being the parents of a boy who has held high the name of not only his family but of whole Vijayvergia Samaj throughout the world. He completed his preliminary studies in Dubbi, Sikandra & Dausa and later shifted to Jaipur to pursue higher studies. He got the job in Rajasthan University in 1969.Alongwith his job, he continues his studies and his academic qualifications summarizes to B.Com; L.L.B.; B.Lib.Sc. & Doc.; P.G.Diploma in Labour Law. He is a man who believes in saying that” Sky is the limit”. As he belongs to a family of Vaishya (baniya) his inherited business mind give him an idea to start a business of hand-knotted woolen carpets. In 1976,he started a firm M/s Jaipur Woolen Quality Carpets that manufactures the quality carpets and sold the carpets to the exporters of Delhi. Bombay & Jaipur.This provided him a platform and he brought his whole family to the Jaipur, which provided the opportunities to his younger brothers to pursue studies in Jaipur and get benefited from his business experience.

In 1982,he handedover this firm to his younger brother and started a new firm M/s Jaipur Pile Carpets together with his son Mr. Omkar Vijay. By the grace of God and his hard work the business grew day-by-day and in 1989 he laid the foundation of a carpet manufacturing & exporting firm M/S Jaipur International.

Shri J.P. Vijayvergia is not only the owner of sharp business acumen but is also a great social devotee. On the social front, he has built the temple of Bhagwan SHIV in Jaipur & his village Dubbi. He has constructed a large hall with a room in Ram Niwas Dham, Shahpura. He has organized seven days Bhagwat Katha delivered by Jagad Guru Shri Ram Dayal ji Maharaj of Shahpura from 6June2000 to 13 June 2000 at his residence. On the conclusion of this katha , he announces donation of Rs. 5,51,000/= for Ram Snehi Chikitsalya, Bhilwara .
